Over the years, Jim’s most prominent role was as the longtime Chief Demonstration Officer, where he partnered with Cisco leaders to deliver more than 400 keynote demonstrations at industry, technology, and CXO events. These included Cisco Live, CES, HIMSS, NRF, Oracle World, Salesforce, DODIS, Cisco Partner Summit, and Cisco’s global sales meetings.

The UCS (Unified Computing System) team has always been focused on helping customers increase energy efficiency in their data centers. From the beginning, focusing on sustainability was meant to save customers money. As the demand for energy-efficient servers grows, the UCS team is dedicated to making the UCS X-Series even more sustainable.

An Icon Is Worth a Thousand Words

In 2011, Cisco had a problem: One of its largest country markets required a major change to our products. Not fixing the problem meant losing sales in the entire country. Canadian language compliance requirements meant anything written in English on hardware products must also appear in French. Other markets put pressure on us to produce separate versions of products with hardware labeling in other languages.
